PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The main function of the damping handle is to adjust the damping strength of the vehicle suspension system. By adjusting the damping handle, the driver can change the hardness or softness of the vehicle's suspension system, thereby affecting the vehicle's driving comfort and stability under different road conditions. Under different driving conditions, such as bumpy roads, high-speed driving or sports driving, adjusting the damping handle can make the vehicle more adaptable to the current road conditions and driving style, improving driving experience and safety.
Set
1 Remove the left cover (7) (see chapter 3.3).
2 Loosen the lock nut (5) with the adjusting nut (6) on the Bowden cable side (B) and bring the adjusting lever (2) into the middle position of the vertical shock absorber (1) (line "A").
3Secure the adjusting nut (6) with the lock nut (5), making sure that the Bowden cable (4) does not become tense.
A notice:
Turn the cable to the lever (B).
4 Operate the lever for the vertical shock absorber adjustment (8) several times in both directions and check the setting and readjust if necessary.
5 Install the left cover (7) (see chapter 3.3).
6 Install seat cushion.
Check
1 Remove seat cushion.
2 Press the lever for the vertical shock absorber adjustment (8) several times in both directions and function
check:
●Bowden cable (4) for smooth movement,
●Lever for the vertical shock absorber adjustment (8) for wear,
●Adjusting lever (2) for dirt.
3 Move the lever for the vertical shock absorber adjustment (8) to the middle position.
4 Adjustment on the vertical shock absorber
(1) check:
●The adjustment lever (2) must be in the middle position in relation to the vertical shock absorber (1) (line "A"),
●The compression spring (3) must pull the Bowden cable (4) tight.
